WELCOME!

As a community of believers, we are working hard to create a parish with its foundations in the true meaning of stewardship—a conversion to Christ and a willingness to return, with increase to the Lord, the gifts He has bestowed upon us. Some of you may come from a parish where you were actively involved in parish life, others may be looking for the best way to fit in, while some may be finding their way in ministry for the first time. It’s our prayer we not only identify areas where you may offer your gifts of time and talent, but that you may discover just how God has gifted you. You are a potential for richness and growth of our parish community; we look forward to growing with you!

With that, we invite you to get involved in parish life here at St. Elizabeth. Find something that appeals to you, helps you grow and gets you excited about living your faith. This booklet provides descriptions of our various ministries, along with the names of the coordinators or contact persons, phone numbers and e-mails. As you read through it, if something looks interesting, check it out. Coordinators and contact persons will give you more information on the ministries they lead. In addition, we’ve provided the names and contact information of key contacts among our parish staff.

I look forward to getting to know you and to doing all that I can to help you find a home here at St. Elizabeth.

Pastor, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Last Mondays of the month, 7PM

Parish Hall

Members of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul (or “Vincentians” ) are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. Our members are young and old, rich and poor, but we are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need. Energized by the awareness that service to our brother or sister in need is in fact an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ, members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are keenly aware that poverty, suffering and loneliness are present for millions in our communities. For that reason, we collaborate with all who seek to relieve need and address its causes. St. Vincent de Paul also coordinates the Food Pantry effort.
