RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES 2013-2014
Elementary & Middle School: Grades K–8
Classes for Grades Kindergarten through 8th meet once a week for approximately 1 hour. Classes for Elementary students are offered on Sunday's at 10:15 am and 12:15 pm or Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons at 4:45 pm or in the evenings at 6:30 pm.
Middle School Classes are offered on Sunday's at 10:15 and 12:15, Monday at 6 p.m. and on Wednesday's at 4:45 and 6:30 p.m.

Bilingual Classes
Bilingual classes are offered for grades 1st thru 3rd on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Sacrament preparation for bilingual students are also offered for 2nd and 3rd grades.

Family Catechesis Program: Grades K-8th
This is home-based method of Religious Education allows parents to take on the lead role of catechist. It is not for every family as it is time-intensive and requires knowledge of the basic faith principles of the Catholic Church. Sacrament preparation classes are not offered in the Family Catechesis Program. There are mandatory group meetings to monitor progress throughout the year.
Confirmation Program: Grades 9-12
Two consecutive years of formal Religious Education must precede this sacrament. If the student has not previously been enrolled in a formal RE class or Catholic school during the 7th and 8th grade years they may attend the Introduction to Confirmation class and enter into the Confirmation class the following year. The Introduction to Confirmation class meets weekly on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm throughout the school year.
Students who have attended RE or Catholic school in 7th and 8th grade may attend the Confirmation class in their 9th grade year. The Confirmation class consists of 8 weekly meetings and a retreat experience.

RCIA Adapted for Children: Grades 2-12
The process of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Adapted for Children is for unbaptized children, grades 2-12. This class meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30. Parent participation is requested.
