A mission is established in Pflugerville and places under the protection of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. The first church building at Wilbarger & Railroad Street near downtown is dedicated. Through our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Austin and from Our Lady of Guadalupe in Taylor, the Oblate Fathers of Mary Immaculate provided Mass and Sacraments at the mission.

Dedication of the new church building on North Pflugerville Loop with 8 acres of land.

The fiftieth anniversary of the Mission is celebrated.

St. Elizabeth is established as an independent parish
First resident pastor: Father Pete McCabe

Parish rectory is established on 8th Street in Pflugerville

Dedication of Parish Activity Center ("The Hall")

Second resident pastor assigned: Father Tom Frank

On this day, two statues of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary were unveiled, blessed, and installed. One is made of wood, hand carved and hand painted commissioned from Rome. The other is a plaster statue donated by St Elizabeth in Houston.
